Cerydra is a 5-star support unit in Honkai: Star Rail, who was released alongside phase 2 of the version update 3.5. She is a very powerful unit who relies on buffing characters that use their skill ability to deal damage.
The problem is that Cerydra’s biggest strength is also her weakness, as characters who don’t use their Skill ability exclusively don’t really benefit from her. However, in the right setup, Cerydra is one of the best support units in the game as she will make clearing endgame content very easy due to the massive buffs she provides.
Best Build For Cerydra In Honkai: Star Rail

Cerydra is a support unit, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be investing in her when it comes to Light Cones and Relics. Similar to the best build for Hysilens, the better your gear is, the more buffs Cerydra will provide, which will not only enhance her own viability but also everyone in the team.
Build Elements | Recommendations |
---|---|
Light Cone | Epoch Etched in Golden Blood |
Relic | Sacredos’ Relived Ordeal |
Ornament | Lushaka, the Sunken Seas |
Body | ATK% |
Feet | SPD |
Rope | ATK% or Energy Regen |
Sphere | ATK% |
Cerydra relies on a lot of ATK stats, and you should try to maintain about 4000, especially if you’re using the signature Light Cone. If you don’t have 4000 ATK, Cerydra won’t be able to provide the full extent of her Crit DMG buff. In terms of SPD, you should maintain about 140 SPD outside combat.
Best Light Cone For Cerydra In Honkai: Star Rail

The best Light Cone for Cerydra is Epoch Etched in Golden Blood, as it synergizes best with her kit. If you don’t want to pull for her signature Light Cone, you can also go for something like A Grounded Ascent or Forever Victual. The various Light Cones and the buffs they provide for Cerydra have been discussed in the following table.
Light Cone | Synergy with Cerydra |
---|---|
Epoch Etched in Golden Blood | This Light Cones provides a 64% ATK boost and also it also recovers a Skill Point upon using the ultimate. Additionally, when Cerydra uses her Skill to buff a target, the Light Cone buffs the Skill damage of the target by 54%. |
A Grounded Ascent | This is a good alternative Light Cone for Cerydra, as whenever the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate on an ally, it tags the latter with a buff called Hymm. This buff can stack up to 3 times, and it increases the target’s damage by up to 45%. It also regenerates Energy for the wearer of the Light Cone. |
Forever Victual | This Light Cone increases the ATK of the wearer by 16%. Upon using their Skill on a target, it further increases ATK by 8%. |
When it comes to choices, Epoch Etched in Golden Blood is the best one for Cerydra, as there is no other alternative to the various buffs it provides. However, A Grounded Ascent is also very good as it helps Cerydra use her ultimate ability more often while buffing the damage of the ally target. Forever Victual is good, but the problem is apart from boosting Cerydra’s ATK, it doesn’t offer anything for a target ally. However, if you’re free-to-play, Forever Victual will be your best choice.
Best Relics And Ornament Set For Cerydra In Honkai: Star Rail

The best Relic Set for Cerydra is Sacredos’ Relived Ordeal, and the best Ornament set is Lushaka, the Sunken Seas. Both of these sets are catered towards not just buffing Cerydra’s stats, but also buffing any target ally. As such, it helps out in improving the rotations and damage output of the entire team.

Set Piece | Set Bonus |
---|---|
2-pc | SPD increased by 6% |
4-pc | When the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate on any ally, it increases the target’s Crit DMG by 18%. |
While this Relic Set provides SPD stats, ensure you apply SPD to both the boots and the substats. When it battles, you should be hitting about 160 SPD to ensure that Cerydra can have as many turns as possible, and she can optimally buff her allies.
Best Ornament Set
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas, is a very good Ornament Set for Cerydra as it provides Energy Regeneration for the wearer. Additionally, it also increases the ATK of an ally in the team, depending on how you position them in the party lineup.
Set Piece | Set Bonus |
---|---|
2-pc | Energy Regeneration of the wearer is increased by 5%. If the wearer is not the first member in the party, any character positioned first will have their ATK stats increased by 12%. |
When using this Ornament Set, make sure you put the DPS in the first position so that they can benefit from the ATK boost. Additionally, make sure you go for the ATK% Sphere to hit the 4000 ATK requirement. Depending on how much ATK you have, you can go for either Energy Regen rope or ATK% rope.
Cerydra Overview And Kit In Honkai: Star Rail

Cerydra is a very strong support unit, even though she is a bit limited in terms of uses. She is best suited with characters like Phainon, Anaxa, and Feixiao, who use their Skill to deal damage. This is similar to Hysilens’ best team in Honkai: Star Rail, who is also limited by teams and uses. However, in her own niche, Cerydra is an extremely powerful support, but not at all useful otherwise.
Elements | Specifications |
---|---|
Rarity | 5-Star |
Element | Wind |
Class | Harmony |
Overall Rating | S |
Memory of Chaos | S |
Pure Fiction | S |
Apocalyptic Shadow | SS |
Cerydra is all about maintaining a certain buff called Charge. She can gain a maximum of eight Charge points, and she receives those from her Ultimate, Skill, and Talent. When Cerydra uses her Skill, she gains one point of Charge and puts a buff called Military Merit on an ally. When her Charge stacks are at six, Military Merit is changed to Peerage, which increases Crit DMG and All-RES Pen for the target ally.
Cerydra’s Ultimate ability grants her two Charge stacks while also dealing damage to enemies. Finally, her Talent ability increases the ATK of a target ally depending on Cerydra’s own ATK stats. When this target character, who already has the Military Merit buff, uses their Skill or Basic ATK, Cerydra will gain one point of Charge.
As such, your goal is to ensure that Cerydra keeps her Charge stacks at six or more, so that she can consistently provide Crit DMG buffs for the DPS in the team. Additionally, make sure her ATK is over 4000, as for every 100 ATK above 2000, Cerydra increases a target ally’s Crit DMG by 18%. It can go up to a maximum of 360%, which is achieved at 4000 ATK in Honkai: Star Rail.
