How To Emote In Helldivers 2

Arrowhead has ensured there is an emote for every occasion, you can even play rock paper scissors with your buddy to decide who is up for arming the Hellbomb. Here is how to emote in Helldivers 2 and express your love for Democracy.

How to Do Emotes in Helldivers 2

To emote in Helldivers 2, press the ‘B’ Key for PC players on the keyboard or hold the left button on the D-Pad for PS5 or PC players playing on the DualSense. Keep in mind that simply pressing the left D-Pad button on a DualSense will not do an emote, you will have to hold it down for a second to execute an emote.

How to Change Emotes in Helldivers 2

Now you might get tired of doing the same default emote over and over again. If you want to change your current emote in Helldivers 2, here is how you can do it:

1. Make sure you are on your Destroyer ship or another player’s ship.
2. In the center passage before the bridge of the ship, you will find the Armory.
3. Open up the Armory and head to the Character tab on top.
4. From the list, choose the Emote option.
5. You will now have a list of all the emotes you own, you can change your emote by selecting a different one from the list.

Keep in mind that you can only change your current emote while in a Destroyer ship, once deployed on the surface, you won’t be able to do multiple emotes or change your emote. While deployed on a mission, you can only do your current active emote that you set back on the ship.

How to Get More Emotes in Helldivers 2

You can get additional emotes in Helldivers 2 by unlocking it through Warbonds. Everyone owns a free Warbond called “Helldivers Mobilize!” and you can also buy additional Warbonds with Super Credits which is the premium currency.

• Explosive Hardshake: Found on Page 3, costs 8 Medals.
• Hug: Found on Page 4, costs 20 Medals.

• Rock Paper Scissors: Found on Page 8, costs 50 Medals.
