The Infinity Nikki 1.9 brought a personal home for Nikki and Momo. This lets you get your own unique space by completing a special questline. This will help you get the home you’ve likely been waiting for.
There are many steps to take before you can get everything you want, and it’s not a simple system. Luckily, once you understand what to do, you’ll wish that this had been implemented sooner.
How to Get Your Own Home in Infinity Nikki

To get started on your own home journey, you’ll need to make sure you’ve updated the game to version 1.9 of Infinity Nikki. Once you’ve done that, a new World Quest called “Set Off For A Warm Place” will pop up. This is your ticket to getting your own island and home. To start the quest, you’ll need to head to the Inbound Wharf in the Sea of Stars.
A cutscene will automatically play when you get there, introducing you to a new NPC named Oriin. After that, you’ll be whisked away to a beautiful new island where you get to name it, officially making it your own. You may benefit from getting the gifty locations to help.
When you first get to your island, only one area will be unlocked, but you’ll get a taste of all the customization options and activities. To unlock the rest of the island, you’ll need Expansion Permits. You can buy these at the brand new Home Shop.
You’ll need four permits in total to unlock all four areas of your island. As soon as you step on your new island, your house will automatically be built and ready to go. You can even interact with your home daily by jumping on the giant heart in front of it to “Like” it. A portal next to this heart also lets you visit other players’ homes to “Like” them as well, which is a neat way to build a sense of community.
Where to Get Furniture for Your House

Once you’ve set up your new home in Infinity Nikki, you’re in for a treat because there’s a ton of customization you can do, especially when it comes to furniture. There are a few different ways to get new furniture and decorate your place, so let’s dive into them.
One of the main ways to get new furniture and decor is through the crafting system. After you’ve unlocked your home, you’ll get access to a Crafting Table. Your first stop to start crafting should be the Yardling Shop, where you can buy furniture sketches. These sketches are basically blueprints for new items.
As your Construction ability and Home Insights improve, more furniture sketches will pop up in the shop, giving you more options to choose from. Once you have a sketch, you can go back to your crafting table to see what materials you need for that item. After you’ve gathered all the materials, you can go ahead and craft your new pieces. These items are then ready for you to place anywhere in your home, which is a great way to personalize every corner.
Besides crafting, there are other ways to expand your furniture collection. The Home Shop is another important place to check out; it also sells Expansion Permits for new areas of your island. Here, you can use the Astralites you’ve earned from different activities on the island to buy new furniture and decor directly. This is a super convenient option if you want to quickly add items to your home without having to go on a material-gathering hunt.
The open world of Infinity Nikki also has some hidden treasures that you can bring back to your house. Some furniture pieces you find while exploring can be carried back to Nikki’s place. Lastly, just like with a lot of other things in the game, some furniture might be available as quest rewards
Everything You Can Do in Infinity Nikki’s Home Update

While Infinity Nikki may not be the next gacha game anymore, the Home update is packed with a ton of stuff to do. You can get into gardening, planting different kinds of plants all around your home for some unique customization. You can also craft new furniture and decor by learning to collect the right materials.
No matter what you’re doing on your island, you’ll be earning Astralites, which is the new valuable currency. You can also get some random Astralites by interacting with the Astral Tree on your island. Then, you can head to the shop to spend your Astralites on new furniture, decor, plants, and those crucial Expansion Permits. The more time and effort you put into your home and island, the more outfits you get for Nikki. These aren’t just for looks, though—they also give her new abilities to tackle the fresh challenges in the update.
A bunch of key abilities are tied to the Home feature, which really shakes up the gameplay. The Planting ability, which you learn through tutorials, lets you grow crops. You’ll need to master watering techniques and understand the different crop types. Selling these crops nets you more Astralites. The more you plant, the more Home Insights you earn, which you can use in the Yardling store to unlock new plant varieties.
Then there’s Construction, where you can craft new furniture and decor. Just buy the sketches from the Yardling Shop and gather your materials. The Star Collecting ability, when you equip a special outfit, reveals meteorite locations on the island so you can collect them for more Home Insights. Fish Keeping lets you create an aquatic environment to grow different types of fish, which you can then sell for Astralites. Last but not least is the Animal Inviting ability.
You can invite unique animals to your island by grooming them in the overworld and completing a music mini-game. You’ll need to build them a place to stay, like the Animal Lodge, and feeding them earns you more Home Insights.
All these abilities can be upgraded with Home Insights and Astralites to make them even better. Eventually, you can even fuse existing abilities to unlock some truly powerful new skills in Infinity Nikki.
