All Endings In Banishers Ghosts Of New Eden
Ascend Oath Fulfilled
The so-called ‘good’ ending in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a result of considerably fewer casualties than the other two. In this ending, Antea ascends from the world of lingering ghosts. To achieve this, you must give the majority of ghosts you battle throughout the main story a chance to ascend as well.
There are over 23 haunting cases in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. In each haunting case, you are given a choice to sacrifice or kill the colonizers or ascend or banish the ghost. To achieve this ending, swear to Antea that Red will ascend her, and then Banish / Ascend every ghost in New Eden. This is considered to be the best out of all possible outcomes in the game – as you give closure to Red and Antea; and also helped the spirits of the dead in New Eden. While Red is filled with grief, he eventually recovers and passes on his learnings and experiences to his apprentices. While you can probably get away by Blaming in a few scenarios; but it is best to choose to Banish / Ascend every time to be sure to get this ending
Ascend Oath Partially Fulfilled
To achieve the Ascend Oath Partially Fulfilled ending, swear Antea that Red will ascend her, then Banish / Ascend the majority; but also Blame some living people. So while in the end Antea will still ascend, however Red is not fully reconciled to losing Antea, and lives his life overwhelmed with the fact that he has committed murders.
Resurrection Oath Fulfilled
To achieve this ending, Red must first vow to Resurrect Antea, and then choose to Blame living people in every case that you are called upon to resolve. This ending is a morally grey one : you get to resurrect Antea, but at a high moral cost. In the end, both of them choose to leave New Eden and rebuild their relationship with the ‘shared interest’ that they have; which appears to be a new-found love for killing
Oath Failed
To achieve this ending, either vow to Ascend or Resurrect Antea, and then proceed to do the exact opposite of what you promised – Blame living persons in case you vowed to Ascend; or Ascend / Banish ghosts if you promised to Resurrect. This is the bad ending equivalent in this game, as you break your promise to Antea. If you choose to go down this path, in the end Red will fail when attempting to fulfil his promise and will wake up right back where it all started – in the beach cave; and will be tasked to ensure that this time he sticks to his oath to Antea.
