Empowered Monoliths in Last Epoch are the harder versions of all monoliths you will come across in Monoliths of Fate. While they are extremely challenging, they also unlock some pretty unique item drops that can’t be accessed anywhere else in the game.
How To Unlock Empowered Monoliths In Last Epoch
You have to beat all three level 90 Monoliths to unlock Empowered Monoliths in Last Epoch. These level 90 monoliths are the Spirits of Fire, the Last Ruin, and the Age of Winter. Together, they are called Monoliths of Fate.
To unlock these Monoliths of Fate in Last Epoch:
- You will first have to reach the main island in The End of Time. This island is situated in the center of the three level-90 monolith timelines. To access this island, you will need to complete the normal versions of all three timelines. You can reach this by progressing through Last Epoch’s main campaign and entering the End of Time area.
- Once you have completed the normal versions, go to the aforementioned island and click on the chest in the center. This will prompt an option for you to choose between the Normal version or the Empowered version.
- Click on the Empowered version to begin hunting for Empowered Monoliths in Last Epoch. As you progress in your quest for Empowered Monoliths, the Monoliths of Fate will start becoming increasingly difficult to unlock.
- Empowered timelines that give access to Empowered Monoliths are similar to normal ones, except they begin at level 100 and feature corruption starting at 100, which can be scaled infinitely. The higher the corruption, the greater the chances of rare item rewards.
- When playing solo or in offline mode, you will have to clear these timelines one by one, killing the main boss in each of these timelines. During this campaign, you will come across monoliths ranging from level 58 to level 90.
Only by completing all three level 90 monoliths can you begin conquering Empowered Monoliths.
