Among the many insects hiding in the flora and fauna of Palia, the Lunar Fairy Moth is a special one. This insect is said to be connected to the Dragon Moon and appears at special times only. So, if you’re looking forward to catching one in the game, you need to figure out its correct spawn location.
How I Found The Lunar Fairy Moth In Palia
During my gameplay, Lunar Fairy Moths typically showed up in the Bahari Bay region, close to Pulsewater Plains, Hideaway Bluffs, north and south of Proudhorn, and the Outskirts. You will find this moth from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM, blending in with Paper Lantern Bugs and Kilima Night Moths.

While catching the Lunar Fairy Moth, make sure you sneak up on it. If it gets startled, it will get away in a blink, so make sure to use your Smoke Bombs strategically. You can also use a Sticky Smoke Bomb to prevent the Lunar Fairy Moth from escaping.
Once you have the moth, you can add it to your insect collection, gift it to NPCs like Auni, Elouisa, and Jel, or sell it for 34 Gold. If you happen to catch a better-quality moth, the price for it can go up to 54 Gold.
