If you want to brew the perfect Incantations and polish your Alchemy skills in Hades 2 chances are you’ll most probably need the ingredient known as Thalamus in the game. Grown from origin seeds found in the game, Thalamus is the only ingredient that can let Melinoe survive the Surface and venture for more resources.
So, if you’re struggling to find this plant, we’ll give you all the information you need.
How Do I Get Thalamus In Hades 2?
To get Thalamus in Hades 2, you need to find the origin seeds from the Chaos realm and plant them so that they grow into this incantation ingredient in the game. These origin seeds are hidden underneath digging spots in the Chaos realm.
Note: Chaos gates usually appear as circular holes with black smoke coming out of them, and they spawn frequently after you have taken down the first Hades 2 boss.
To get the seeds, simply grab your Silver Spade, head to the Chaos Gate, and dive into the realm to look for these dirt mounds. If you do not want to take damage when entering Chaos, you can force open a gate by paying gold at the Well of Charon.
Once you have two origin seeds in your possession, take them back to the Crossroads and plant them in the Flourishing Soil. Thalamus will take about seven encounters worth of time to fully grow before you can harvest it for your Alchemy skills.
Alternatively, you can also spend the time soaking in the hot springs or in Taverna if you do not want to engage in fights every night in the game.
