Location Of Cherished Fracture In Remnant 2
In order to get and use the Cherished Fracture item, you have to find the giant statue in Luminous Vale and then head to Lydusa in Bloodless Throne.
Finding Cherished Fracture In Luminous Vale
Head to the Luminous Vale in Yaesha to start your journey. This area becomes accessible after you complete a random mini-boss dungeon in the region.
As you move ahead, you will find a blocked stream. Shoot at the blockage inside to release the water, and you will be able to move inside that path.
While moving ahead, you will come across a purple blooming flower. If you fire at it, it will release a loud, screeching sound.
Move ahead and turn left to enter the room with the circle. Stand on top of it to travel downwards.
Once inside, keep an eye out for a giant statue with its hands crossed over its chest. Pull the lever in front of it, and it will move the statue’s hands.
A hidden compartment will be revealed inside the statue — you will find the Cherished Fracture item there.
Using Cherished Fracture In Remnant 2
Return It to Lydusa
Equip the Cherished Fracture item and return it to Lydusa, an NPC located at the Bloodless Throne in Yaesha. When you bring the item back to her, it triggers a boss fight. Lydusa partially regains her physical form and becomes hostile.
Speak to Ro’thinderahenwalt
You can also speak to Ro’thinderahenwalt while having the Cherished Fracture in your inventory. However, he will steal the item from you and head to the Bloodless Throne in an attempt to control Lydusa. This also triggers a mandatory boss fight between you and Lydusa.
Note: After you defeat Lydusa in both the first and second scenarios, you’ll get the Eye of Lydusa item. It can be used to craft the Monolith, one of the best weapons in the Forgotten Kingdom.
Offering It at Goddess’s Rest
If you want to skip your boss fight with Lydusa, there’s an alternative. Use the Cherished Fracture at Goddess’s Rest, a temple dedicated to Lydusa.
Inside this temple, you’ll find an altar with a golden offering bowl. Placing the Cherished Fracture in this bowl allows Lydusa to fully regain her original form without becoming hostile. She will reward you with a crafting item, which you can use to create the weapon Mirage.
Bug Report: Cherished Fracture Missing for Some Players
Some Remnant 2 players have reported a bug where the Cherished Fracture in Remnant 2 doesn’t appear in Luminous Vale despite following all the necessary steps. In such cases, playing through the quest on a different save or restarting the game has helped resolve the issue. If you’re facing the same problem, consider replaying the area or checking for updates that may patch the bug in future game versions.
