How to Obtain Void Shards in The First Descendant
You can get Void Shards by destroying Void Fragments in The First Descendant. Void Fragments are monolithic pillars that can be found in multiple places on all maps. You will need to deal Skill damage with a specific element to destroy Void Fragments which is indicated by the color of the Void Fragment and can also be determined by hovering over its icon on the map.
It can also be a non-attribute one, which requires non-elemental skill damage. Once you use the required element, it will start an event that spawns multiple enemies. You will then need to kill these enemies to remove the invulnerability on the Void Fragment.
Repeat this process until the Void Fragment is destroyed to get your Void Shards. Remember that you need to deal elemental damage with a Skill, not a weapon.
How to Use Void Shards in The First Descendant
Void Shards are used to open Void Fusion Reactors that can be found on each map. These can give rare loot as a reward at the end and also allow you to shape an Amorphous Material. However, each Void Fusion Reactor requires different types and amounts of Void Shards.
Here is a list of different types of Void Shards you can get in The First Descendant:
- Inorganic Shards
- Organic Shards
- Monomer Shards
- Polymer Shards
To know which type of Void Shards you get from a Void Fragment, hover over its icon on the map to display its loot rewards list. Similarly, you can also check which type of Void Shards are required for a Fusion Reactor by hovering over its icon as well.
