Coral Island lets you explore and dive deep into the Ocean to heal it back to its original state. This can be achieved by healing coral sites found in specific locations on the underwater map. But, if you’re just getting started with the game, the coral site mechanism might be hard to grasp in one try.
How Do I Heal Coral Sites In Coral Island?
To heal coral sites in Coral Island, you first need to dive into the ocean from the diving pier and then clear away all the trash lying around in the sand to heal each site. When you unlock diving on the 8th in-game day, just follow these steps:
- Use your sickle to remove all the trash in the area.
- Keep removing trash till you find a glowing coral orb hidden in the sand and activate it.
- The orb will return to the coral site and a golden pathway will start extending from the coral site.
- Remove any trash obstructing the way of the golden path and wait till it triggers another coral site hidden underneath the sand.
- The new coral site will start exuding a golden light that heals all the coral life in the area, and it will finally be healed from the black tar poisoning the water.
You need to heal every coral site you come across in order to open the gate to the Merfolk Kingdom in the game. Just make sure to have plenty of stamina and stamina-replenishing food before diving.

Tips For Healing Coral Sites Faster In Coral Island
The coral site healing task can be quite consuming if you are not prepared. Here are my top 6 tips to help you get through the waters easily:
- Upgrade your sickle so that the trash is removed in one hit rather than multiple.
- Bring Jamu or other stamina-replenishing food/drink to consume if you’re running out of energy.
- Place your anchor on the last healed coral site so that you can track your location and progression easily.
- Make Vortexanators to destroy a small area of trash underwater without spending energy.
- Collect critters, kelp, seaweed, clams, and salt whenever you see them on the ocean floor for loot.
- If you don’t have to water crops or feed animals, head over to the diving pier first thing in the morning to utilize the time wisely.
