The First Descendent is Nexon’s most recent third-person looter-shooter action game. Cooperative multiplayer is one of the main attractions of this game. But what if you don’t want to play with friends? Even though co-op is fun, sometimes, people just want to play the game they love on their own.
Thankfully, The First Descendant also caters to solo players. In this guide, we’ll show you how to play the game using a private server so that randoms can’t get in and interfere with your play style. Let’s get started.
How to Use Private Servers in The First Descendant
To access private servers, you need to switch the game mode in the First Descendant to Private Play. Travel to Albion, the main hub of The First Descendant. Open up your map and switch to the World Map. Click on the region that you want to go to.
On the top left part of the map, near the name of the region, you’ll see a blue box that says Public. Click on it, and it will turn the region Private.

Now, when you travel to any of the Outposts in the region, you won’t find any other players here. The game will run on a private server as a single-player game. Keep in mind this works only when you’re in Albion. If you’re already in the region, you can’t switch to the private server unless you travel back to Albion first.
To switch back to public play, simply head back to Albion and open your map and click on the Private box.
