Starting your town from scratch in Manor Lords is quite a peaceful experience as you place down your buildings and watch the town slowly come to life. But this can quickly turn to chaos if you neglect the raider attack warning and forget to prepare for their attack.
Not only will they kill the residing families in your settlement, but they will also burn down all houses and structures. These burning houses can stay like that long if not dealt with, so here is how you can stop fires in Manor Lords.
How to Stop and Put Out Fires in Manor Lords
Fires in Manor Lords are put out by constructing Wells that provide groundwater access to your citizens. They will use the water from the wells to stop the fires from spreading. Having multiple wells will make it more efficient and allow citizens to cover a wider area.
However, keep in mind that putting out the fire only stops it from spreading to other buildings; it will not stop the damage being caused to the building that is already on fire. The building on fire will be completely destroyed regardless; it just helps you start reconstructing faster.

Also, make sure that the Raiders are completely dealt with before you focus on spreading the fires and reconstructing buildings so they can light them on fire again. Raiders won’t stop until they have burned down every building in the settlement, so make sure you deal with it as quickly as possible.
Besides Raiders, there is no actual threat in the game that can now light your buildings and houses on fire, so you don’t need to worry about it unless you aren’t prepared for Raiders. This is why you should always deal with Raider attacks that are far from your settlement.
