The Dark Horizon DLC in Remnant 2 will tickle your sci-fi fantasies through its alien world of N’Erud and the story of its apocalyptic fate. On this journey, you might fight some robot parts like a head, an arm, etc. These are crucial items that will further your progress to unlock the B.O.T achievement in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon. So here is how you can get them all and unlock this achievement.

How To Get The B.O.T Achievement In Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon
To get the B.O.T achievement, you need to find all four Prototype Parts and then use them to repair the Prototype which can be found at the Repair Lab world stone in the Agronomy Sector. You can find the Repair Lab by taking the glider on the left side of the Anterior Recess world stone and then heading down to an area on the opposite cliff in front of you.
These are the four Prototype Parts you need to find and bring back to the Prototype:
- Prototype Head
- Prototype Arm
- Prototype Claw
- Memory Core
However, remember that you need to inspect the Memory Core and interact with the button on top to turn the lights blue before you give it to the Prototype for repairs. Otherwise, he will fight you instead and you will not get the B.O.T achievement.
How To Find All Prototype Parts In Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon
Below is a step-by-step guide on how you can find each of the four Prototype Parts so that you can repair the Prototype and unlock the B.O.T achievement in Remant 2 The Dark Horizon. As gathering these will take you through most of the DLC, I advise obtaining the Harvester Scythe and the Warden Archetype to make you more powerful for this journey.
Prototype Head
The Prototype Head is found next to a fallen robot right after the first cutscene in this DLC. This one is hard to miss and you might’ve already got it if you played the initial few minutes of The Dark Horizon DLC.
Prototype Arm
Here is how you can get to the Prototype Arm:
- Progress through the DLC until you unlock the Anterior Recess world stone.
- From there stick to the right wall and progress until you find a glider.
- Take the glider directly ahead and land on the area you can see down below in front of you.
- There will be a cave opening along the cliff wall here with blue web-like strings blocking it.
- Trying to cross this will spawn an enemy that you will need to defeat.
- After that, simply head into the cave and you will find the Prototype Arm lying on the ground.
Prototype Claw
Here is how you can get to the Prototype Claw:
- Progress through the DLC until you reach the second main district of the DLC location called Withered Necropolis.
- Explore further until you find the Gardener NPC.
- When facing the Gardner NPC, head to his left-hand side along the path that goes up the hill.
- Go up the hill until you find a glider on the right-hand side overlooking a cliff, it will be around huge capsule-like structures
- Take the glider and land on the bridge that you can see below.
- Fight the enemies here and progress down the corridor until you find the Prototype Arm near a wall at the end of the corridor.
Memory Core
To get the final piece for unlocking the B.O.T achievement in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon, you will need to reach the final boss fight of this DLC.
Once you reach the area right before the final boss fight where you have to enter a boss arena called The Convergence, here is where you need to go to get the Memory Core:
- If you are facing The Convergence door, turn back and take the glider on your right side.
- Fly to the glider spawn you see right in front and then make your way down the corridor.
- As you come out of it, you will see another glider in front of you.
- Take that glider and head to the middle of the cliff that is in front of you beyond the purple sludge below, there will be a small landing where you can set foot.
- Find the door that leads inside and progress through it until you get to the Memory Core.
- Go to your inventory, inspect the Memory Core, and interact with the button on top to turn the lights blue. (Very important step)
If you miss the part of interacting with the memory core before handing it to the Prototype, they will become hostile and fight you instead of being grateful. This will also completely spoil your chance to get the B.O.T achievement in Remnant 2 The Dark Hoirzon for your current run. So be careful until you want to restart all over again.
