While Last Epoch is relatively easier to follow than many ARPGs out there, unlocking Mastery is a confusing matter for players. There are a few requirements you must fulfill in order to unlock Mastery, which is what many players get wrong.
Unlocking Mastery In Last Epoch
To unlock the mastery in Last Epoch, you first need to meet all these prerequisites:
- Reach Chapter 4 in the storyline
- Spend 20 Points on Base Class Skill Tree
- Spend Skill Points until you reach Level 25
- Clear the Quest: End of Time and talk to Elder Gaspar or Forgotten Knight.
It is absolutely necessary to follow the Main Quest Line and clear ‘The End of Time’ quest. The quest will be concluded with a conversation with the Elder Gaspar or the Forgotten Knight. Either of them will facilitate you to unlock the Mastery Feature for your character. This is the step that is not very apparent in the beginning and is generally missed by the players.
Last Epoch Mastery Classes
There are a total of fifteen Mastery Classes in the game with three base classes each. Selecting a Mastery is a permanent choice in Last Epoch and cannot be changed. You need to build a whole new character if you want to experience a different Mastery.
Mastery Classes | Base Classes |
Acolyte | Lich, Necromancer, Warlock |
Mage | Runemaster, Spellblade, Sorcerer |
Primalist | Beastmaster, Druid, Shaman |
Rogue | Bladedancer, Falconer, Marksman |
Sentinel | Forge Guard, Paladin, Void Knight |
