Walking around Fae Farm’s magical lands, you might have probably encountered various friendly Fae people waving and greeting you every day. Don’t you wish you could also wave back at your friendly neighbors? Well, lucky for you, this game lets you use emotes both in single-player and multiplayer.
Here’s how you can use emotes in Fae Farm and greet people with the wave emote featured in the game.
How To Wave In Fae Farm
To wave in Fae Farm, open up your emote wheel (by pressing the ‘B’ key on your keyboard if you’re on PC) and then select the Wave option from the wheel. This will let you interact with NPCs, your farm animals, and also your friends when you are trying out the game’s multiplayer.
For players trying out the game on the controller, just tap left on the D-pad to open up the emote wheel, select the wave emote, and press ‘A’ to use it. Other than the wave emote, Fae Farm also offers emotes like Heart, Cry, Smile, and many more to interact with people.

One of the missions of the game lets you wave to your chickens which opens up the opportunity to interact with farm animals and guide them using emotes. If the chicken seems to not be acknowledging your wave, just spam the emote a couple of times and see if it fixes the issue. This can happen if your chicken is walking away from you and can’t see you waving at it.
If not, restart your game or try again later. Just keep in mind that spamming your emotes too much can deplete energy. So, do this when you have the energy to spare.
