Foamstars is a team-based game that makes playing with friends much more fun. Despite being released only on the PlayStation consoles, many players are wondering if they will be able to play with their friends on last-gen consoles.
Does Foamstars Have Crossplay?
Yes, Foamstars has crossplay. PS4 and PS5 players can team-up and play together in the same lobby. Currently, Foamstars is only released on the PlayStation consoles, so cross-platform is not possible. It may be added in the future.
To play with your friends on a different-gen console, simply have them added to your PSN friend list and invite them to your party via the Social screen. Older-gen players will still be able to enjoy all of the multiplayer content Foamstars has to offer, like the co-op Squad missions and the Versus matches.

There is no word from the developers if they plan to release Foamstars for Xbox Series X/S or PC. Their current roadmap till Season 6 has no mention of it, so we will just have to wait for further updates down the line.
