The original Star Wars Battlefront 2 was my childhood, and it feels extremely nostalgic to revisit it again in the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection. One thing that many old veterans like me were excited about was the Galactic Conquest mode. This was one of the most fun experiences to play multiplayer with a friend, especially the Galactic Conquest in Battlefront 2.
Can You Play Online Multiplayer Galactic Conquest In Star Wars Battlefront Classic?
No, there is no online multiplayer support for Galactic Conquest in Battlefront Classic for both Battlefront 1 & 2. You can however play local multiplayer with split-screen. This is a major disappointment and a step back from what the original titles were able to do.
The recent launch of Star Wars: Battlefront Classic has already been disastrous with a very limited number of servers available. With no online Galactic Conquest as of now, players can only play single matches online.
Galactic Conquest is a fan-favorite mode that everybody assumed would be online since it was in the original titles. The mode takes you through multiple fights across the galaxy with a grand strategy at play that requires you to manage your credits wisely.
In the future, Galactic Conquest may be available online but for now, you are stuck needing to be in the same room as your friend if you want to play it together.
