Before you gather a group of friends to try out Last Epoch, you need to find out if your group can even play together. Playing from different platforms like PC and consoles would mean Last Epoch also has to support crossplay. But the reality might be disappointing.
Does Last Epoch Support Crossplay?
No, Last Epoch does not support crossplay since the game is currently available only for PC. The discussion about crossplay can happen when the game is out on PC as well as different consoles like Xbox and PlayStation.
However, Last Epoch does support both Linux and Windows PCs, and players can crossplay between these two systems. You can consider this partial crossplay.
The game has recently launched the 1.0 update on February 21, 2024, and the devs are currently focused on keeping the servers running. I’m sure the next big project will be focusing on Crossplay aspects of the game, but that thought is probably for the far future.

Is Last Epoch Multiplayer?
Last Epoch can be played as a multiplayer co-op where you can invite up to 3 of your friends to a self-hosted server. If multiplayer is not your playstyle, you can also partake in the adventures solo and progress at your own pace.
We will update this article as soon as we find out new information regarding crossplay in Last Epoch or if new platforms are announced for the game.
