With an unexpected duplication glitch in Palworld, some players have found a way to simply make several copies of an item. This eliminates the need to gather or farm resources, but it also destroys the whole purpose of the game.
How Does The Palworld Duplication Glitch Work?
I have tried this glitch and found that it works. But I recommend against it since it is unfair, especially when playing with other players on a dedicated Palworld server. But for the purpose of demonstration, here’s how the duplication glitch works:
- Get an item that you want to duplicate, like Wood.
- Have a Pal in your team that has the Transporting work suitability, which means they will be able to transport items. I went with a Lamball.
- Go to the edge of your base, which can be seen by a dark blue border on the ground.
- Drop the item at the edge of your base but make sure it is inside the borders.
- Now summon your chosen Pal just outside this border while you are standing inside it.
- If done correctly, the Pal will try to transport the item but end up duplicating it several times before it stops.

This glitch was difficult to pull off as it required several tries before I was able to recreate it. There are certain things that can potentially fail this glitch, like already having other items needing transport or a Pal being auto-assigned to that item before your summoned Pal.
The amount of effort and tries it would take to do this glitch is better spent by actually going and farming these items. Not to mention, that is the fun part of the game, and duplicating items like this kills the fun altogether. Hopefully, this article brings this glitch to Pocketpair’s attention, who I’m sure will patch it soon.
Instead of using the Palworld duplication glitch, consider buying these items from the Wandering Merchant settlements.
