Should You Tell Hadrian About Her Father? After joining the United Colonies in Starfield and going through rigorous training to become a UC Vanguard, you are tasked with various United Colonies faction quests. These missions will lead you to Hadrian, a UC Vanguard with a tragic past. Turns out, Hadrian’s father Francois Sanon was executed for going against the United Colonies with his controversial actions.
But while investigating the Terramorph attacks in New Atlantis, you will out the truth about Francois’ death. And the truth is Francois Sanon a.k.a Vae Victis is alive, well, and involved in this terrormorph incident. Although you do have a choice to tell Hadrian the truth about her father, it has certain impacts on the story going forward. Here is everything you need to know before you make this hard decision.
Should you tell Hadrian the truth about her father in Starfield?
During the War Relics mission in Starfield, you will get an opportunity to tell Hadrian the truth about her father’s death. Although you can immediately reveal the truth, it is better to hold off and let her find out about Vae Victis on her own.
Revealing the truth might prevent you from participating in a few Vae Victis side missions in the game. If you still wish to tell Hadrian, you will get a few more chances before finishing the UC quest line.
Choice 1: Telling the Truth
Telling the truth about Vae Victis to Hadrian will end the United Colonies faction questline earlier than normal. You will get multiple chances to reveal the truth including the War Relics mission, Hostile Intelligence mission, and even the last UC faction mission, A Legacy Forged.
But if Hadrian learns about Vae Victis during either War Relics or Hostile Intelligence, you will not be able to play out the final A Legacy Forged mission and the questline will end immediately after Hostile Intelligence.
Since Vae Victis will be arrested immediately after learning about his involvement in the Terramorph situation, you will also not get a chance to act as an assassin for Victis and hunt down some criminals on the run.
Choice 2: Not Telling the Truth
If you decide to not tell the truth, all you have to do is put the blame on Dr. Orlasse during A Legacy Forged. This way Francois Sanon will not get arrested, and you will get to try out the Vae Victis assassin side quest. This side quest guarantees a handful of Credits, experience, and adventure to new areas of the vast universe in Starfield.
You will get the same rewards i.e. the Class One Citizen achievement and Mercury Tower Penthouse regardless of the choice you make. So, don’t worry too much about your decision, and continue the Starfield journey at your own pace.
