As you go around defeating Von Croy’s men in Tomb Raider 4 The Last Revelation Remastered, you eventually reach Alexandria, a land filled with mummies and mysteries at every corner. One of the trophies you can earn here is Inspector Wadjet, but getting it is no simple feat. Here’s a guide to all of Jean Yves’ scenes and how to receive the Bronze Inspector Trophy.
The First Scene: The Gatekey
The primary objective behind this trophy is to unlock all four possible additional scenes you can with Jean Yves. Since this can be done right after you land in Alexandria after the Train quest, it’s better if you save when you step into the new level.
The First scene with Jean Yves can be unlocked after finding the secret of Alexandria. You can find the first secret by going to the left side of the door which leads to Jean’s room. Jump onto the roof next to the balcony and then jump onto the tiled roof on the right.
Hang down from it and you should see a lever below you. Drop down onto it, pulling the lever down. You’ll unlock a door at the bottom of this roof. Be careful while going inside as there might be some assassins shooting at you. Pick up the medipaks and arrows at the far end of the room and head back out onto the courtyard.
After finding it, head over to Jean Yves study near the Courtyard with the fountain in the middle. Be careful of the scorpions and try to kill them before they harm you. Meet Jean Yves and you should unlock a cutscene where Jean gives Lara some details on the armor’s whereabouts.
If the cutscene with Jean doesn’t trigger, simply jump down from the ledge above the courtyard and head back into the library.
After the scene ends, make your way to the Egyptian Experience to find the Gatekey. Enter the room with the mummy between the stairs, then proceed into the corridor with the two doors. Head into the farther room, where you’ll spot an orange structure with a slot for a token. Tokens can be obtained by solving various puzzles throughout Alexandria. One way to acquire a token, and simultaneously complete the Godspeed Achievement is detailed here.
Inserting the token will cause a snake to come out from the basket behind you. Grab it and use it as a rope to climb to the upper section of the tomb. Here you’ll need to find two essential items: the Broken Handle and the Hook. The hook is attached to the wall and can be removed using a crowbar. The broken handle will be lying on the floor adjacent to it. Once you have both the items, combine them to create the Hook & Pole, then return to the lower floor.
Head back to the narrow corridor and take a left, where you’ll find a small door. Use the Hook & Pole on the jail cell, and you should spot the Gatekey lying in the corner. Now head straight back to Jean Yves. Going to the catacombs instead can stop the next scene from appearing.
The Second Scene: Temple of Poseidon
With the Gatekey in hand, head back to Jean Yves, who will be standing near the bookshelves. This time, he will confirm that there’s an armor hidden deep within the catacombs. He also warns you about Von Croy’s men closing in on it.
After this scene, your next objective is to locate and place the four tridents in the Temple of Poseidon. These tridents are scattered throughout the catacombs and can be quite difficult to obtain.
These are the locations of all tridents in Tomb Raider 4 The Last Revelation Remastered:
Trident #1
Can be found in the catacomb with the high ceiling and rope in the middle. It has one of the trickiest swinging rope jumps in the game. The tridents will be resting on a pedestal that can be reached by swinging across using the rope.
Trident #2
There’s a smaller room in the catacombs that will have a vertical pole. Climb across the pole to access the small chamber above, where the second trident will be placed on a pedestal.
Trident #3
This will be in the room illuminated by circular skylights. Use the ledges to reach the third trident on the platform.
Trident #4
The fourth trident can be found in the room with the serpents carved with rocks. The trident will be lying on a nearby pedestal.
After collecting all four tridents and placing them in the Temple of Poseidon, you’ll have to face a skeleton and some wraiths. You can use the urns in the inner room to defeat the wraiths. Nearby, there will be a face statue next to one of the urns. Press it to unlock the temple’s exit.
The Third Scene: Library of Alexandria
When you return to Coastal Ruins, make your way back to Alexandria, but instead of going through the library directly, try taking an alternate route. You can use the water to discover a different path leading back to the city.
When you arrive at Jean’s room, you’ll find him sitting at a table. During your conversation, he will update you on Von Croy’s latest movements and inform you that the Library of Alexandria is filled with interesting puzzles and vast knowledge.
The Fourth Scene
After completing the Library of Alexandria and Hall of Demetrius quests, make sure to visit Jean Yves once more before heading to Pharos. From the point where you finish Hall of Demetrius, go to the room with the face carvings on the columns. Jump onto the narrow ledges in the center and climb up. Follow the pathway until you reach the water, then swim to the left. This path will lead you to Alexandria, where you can meet Jean.
This time, he will warn you about Von Croy’s plans and that you should stay cautious while exploring around. Once the scene starts, you should get the Inspector Wadjet Trophy.
