Megabonk is a roguelike action survival game where your objective is to fight through hordes of enemies and survive as long as you can. However, in order to make your journey smooth, you need to craft builds and invest in stats that will increase your power. This is similar to how you craft builds in Destiny: Rising to make your characters powerful.
One of the stats that you’ll come across in the game is Luck. Now, this stat isn’t directly going to affect your build, but it’s important to put points into it, as it will make it easy to get the items that will affect the quality of your build. It’s very easy to ignore this stat, but you should not, as in the later areas of the game, you’ll need it to increase your clear speed.
How Does Luck Work In Megabonk?

Luck is a stat that directly affects the rarity of items you receive, which include Epic, Rare, and Legendary. The higher the item tier, the stronger your build becomes, and the more damage you deal to enemies. As such, while Luck doesn’t directly impact your build, you won’t be able to get stronger without this stat.
You need Luck quite a bit as you progress through the tier 2 areas of the game. This is because enemies have more health, and they become difficult to defeat. Since Megabonk is a Roguelike game, you don’t get to retry if you die, as you get sent straight back to the start. This means you have to make the most out of each run, and Luck as a stat is essential for that.
How Can I Increase Luck In Megabonk?

If you want to increase your Luck in Megabonk, you’ll need to use something called a Luck Tome. However, it is locked at the very beginning, and the only way to unlock it is by smashing 20 vases. The problem is that even after you unlock it, whether you’ll get the Tome or not depends on your actual luck.
You need to keep trying until you get one, and it’s important you do. This is because you need to increase your Luck to make sure you receive higher-tier loot. If you keep running lower-tier equipment, you will face a really bad time in the endgame areas, if you manage to reach them in Megabonk.
