You might have noticed that some Unique items in Last Epoch feature a Weaver’s Will number rather than Legendary Potential. These items are pretty rare to find and feature a brand-new system to make them more powerful.
Weaver’s Will In Last Epoch, Explained
Weaver’s Will in Last Epoch is a special item stat that is displayed on select unique items. It allows these unique items to be upgraded to Legendary level.
In theory, it works similarly to the Legendary Potential. It has a similar effect, i.e. eventually turning the item to Legendary by upgrading it. However, Weaver’s Will takes a completely different path to achieve this.
Weaver’s Will in Last Epoch features a number called Weaver’s Will Value, ranging from 5 to 28. This number determines the overall power potential of that item. The higher the number, the more upgrades can be performed and the stronger the item will become.
The process of upgrading an item using Weaver’s Will is pretty simple but time-consuming:
- Equip the item that features a Weaver’s Will stat on your character.
- Engage in combat to gain XP. As you kill the enemies, the item’s XP will increase along with your character.
- Upon reaching a certain amount of XP, the Weaver’s Will level will increase.
- When the item levels up, an Affix will be added from various possible Affixes for that item slot.
- After the first level-up and gaining an Affix, either the existing Affix will be upgraded or another one will be added.
- You can add up to four Affixes (two Prefixes and two Suffixes)
- Each Affix can be upgraded to Tier 7.
- There is a random chance that an existing Affix will be upgraded or a new one will be added.
- However, the chance is partial towards upgrading the existing Affix.
- This process is continued as long you play with the item equipped and there is no open Affix slot or all the allotted Affixes have been leveled up to Tier 7.
