In Grounded 2, lingonberries are an important resource used for crafting high-level armor and equipment upgrades. Using these will basically get you into the game’s second phase and out of the tutorial sports.
Even though you’re good enough to get Lingonberries, it doesn’t mean you’re ready to face the whole game by yourself. Instead, it’s important to prepare for the dangers that come with collecting these fruits.
Lingonberry Locations in Grounded 2

You can find these bright red berries beneath the hedge that stretches along the northwestern edge of the park, within the Pine Hill area, in Grounded 2. To find the lingonberries, you’ll need to explore this hedge, which starts just north of the snack bar and continues through the Pine Hill zone in the far northwest.
You aren’t going to be out of ways to get here. There are multiple ways to enter the hedge:
- An entrance near the snack bar
- A way in by the picnic table ranger station
- A final way in behind the Pine Hill ranger station and the notable tree that names the region.
The exact entry point doesn’t make a huge difference, since the berries are spread out along small stems overhead throughout the entire area. However, collecting lingonberries comes with dangers. The space under the hedge is filled with many hostile creatures, making it much riskier than gathering blueberries.

You should be ready to face full-grown Orb Weavers, scorpions, aggressive stinkbugs, bumblebees, large numbers of larvae, and even robotic O.R.C. versions of these enemies. Smaller threats like spiderlings also tend to attack in groups once you’re inside the hedge.
How to Harvest Lingonberries

In Grounded 2, the location where the lingonberries are is in the Pine Hill area and is filled with dangers, including full-grown Orb Weavers, scorpions, hostile stinkbugs, bumblebees, many larvae, robotic O.R.C. enemies, and swarms of spiderlings. So it is important that you are ready for fights.
You should equip stronger weapons, preferably those made from ant parts, and wear suitable armor. While you might be able to rush in quickly on an ant buggy to grab a few berries, a proper harvesting trip will require you to be fully prepared for combat.
Lingonberries are big, red berries that grow on stems high up in the hedge. Since the area is usually dark, except around midday, bringing a torch is a good idea to help you see better. To get the berries down, shoot them with a bow and arrow. Once a berry falls, you will need a Tier 2 Omni Tool axe to break it into smaller pieces.
Unlike blueberries, which can be harvested with a Tier 1 axe, lingonberries need this upgraded tool. If your axe isn’t strong enough yet, you can gather blueberries and roach chunks from the nearby picnic table and then upgrade your axe at the closest ranger station. Lingonberry chunks can be found both on the ground and still hanging on the bush, so you will need to knock some down yourself.

Quick Tips for Lingonberry Harvesting

It’s not as easy as it seems to get Lingonberry in Grounded 2. So you should make sure to follow some helpful tips:
- Be prepared for dangerous enemies like Orb Weavers, scorpions, stinkbugs, bumblebees, larvae, and robotic O.R.C. variants.
- Bring strong weapons (at least ant-part level) and armor if you plan to spend time in the hedge.
- A torch is recommended as it’s often dark under the hedge.
- Use your bow and arrow to knock down lingonberries from overhead stems.
- You will need a level 2 axe to chop them.
- Consider using a mount for faster travel to and from the lingonberry locations.
Once you get the hang of harvesting, it should be a lot easier to get more. Make sure to grab plenty, as you never know when you’ll need more lingonberries.
