Phrolova is a 5-star Havoc Rectifier user in Wuthering Waves and was released in the first half of the version 2.5 update. She is extremely powerful and is the first playable character from an enemy faction in the game, which also makes her quite interesting.
Players have been waiting for Phrolova to become playable since version 1.0 launched in 2024, and now that she’s available, a huge number of fans will be pulling for her. If you’re one of those players, you’ll need a good build to make her perform optimally, and here’s a guide that covers all the necessary details.
Best Phrolova Build in Wuthering Waves

Phrolova is arguably one of the best DPS units in the game, with the highest off-field damage amongst all characters. However, she is also a high investment unit, as there are very specific characters that you must own to make her optimal.
Here’s the best build for Phrolova that you must run for the maximum DPS output:
Phrolova Build | Description |
---|---|
Best Weapon | Lethean Elegy |
Main Echo | Hecate |
Echo Set | Dream of the Lost |
Cost 4 | Crit Rate or Crit DMG |
Cost 3 | Havoc DMG |
Cost 1 | ATK% |
Best Weapons for Phrolova in Wuthering Waves

Phrolova’s best weapon is Lethean Elegy, which also happens to be her signature. This weapon is heavily catered towards Phrolova, which means you can’t use it on other characters.
However, being highly specific also means you will lose out on quite a bit of DPS if you use her second-best option, which is Stringmaster. Here are the best weapons that you can use on Phrolova in the game:
Weapons | Synergy with Phrolova |
---|---|
Lethean Elegy | This is the best weapon for Phrolova since it provides 12% ATK boost. Additionally, upon using Echo Skill, it increases Resonance Skill DMG by 32%, Echo Skill DMG by 32%, and reduces enemy’s DEF by 8%. |
Stringmaster | This is an all-purpose weapon that works on pretty much every Rectifier user, including Phrolova. This weapon provides a 12% DMG boost, and up to a 24% ATK boost on using Resonance Skill. The on-field Resonator with this weapon receives a further 12% ATK boost. |
Whispers of Sirens | This weapon also increases ATK by 12%. When the character uses Basic ATK or Intro Skill, it casts Gentle Dreams. One stack of Gentle Dreams grants 80% ATK, and two stacks reduce Havoc DMG RES by 24%. |

Best Echoes for Phrolova in Wuthering Waves

The best Echo for Phrolova is Nightmare: Hecate since it enhances Resonance Skill DMG and Echo Skill DMG for the unit. However, when it comes to her Relic Set, this is a special one since it has a 3-piece bonus, which is the first of its kind in the game.
All other Echo sets come with a 2-piece and 5-piece bonus. The name of this unique 3-piece Echo set is Dreams of the Lost, and you have to combine it with 2-piece Havoc Eclipse to enhance Phrolova’s Havoc DMG.
Best Main Echo
Best Main Echo | Synergy with Phrolova |
---|---|
Nightmare: Hecate | This is the best Echo for Phrolova as it deals Havoc DMG to enemies, increases Resonance Skill DMG, and Echo Skill DMG. All three are crucial for Phrolova, especially the latter two, making it the best for her kit. |
Crownless | This is an all-purpose Echo that you can use in case you don’t have a good Nightmare: Hecate. This Echo deals Havoc DMG, while increasing the output of the same element for the user. |
Best Echo Set
Best Echo Set | Synergy with Phrolova |
---|---|
Dreams of the Lost (3-pc) | When the Resonance Energy of the wearer is zero, they gain 20% Crit Rate and 35% Echo Skill DMG Bonus. |
Havoc Eclipse (2-pc) | The 2-pc combination of this set provides a 10% Havoc DMG Bonus to Phrolova. |

Phrolova Kit Overview and Forte Priority

Character Overview | Details |
---|---|
Rarity | 5-Star |
Weapon | Rectifier |
Element | Havoc |
Rating | SS |
Phrolova is a bit complicated when it comes to optimally using her kit. Here’s a guide on her kit functions and what you should be doing:
- When you use Phrolova’s Intro Skill or Basic ATK, you perform Basic ATK Stage 3 and generate the first Volatile Note.
- When you use her Basic ATK again or her Resonance Skill, you generate a second Volatile Note.
- Upon using her Echo Skill, she will generate the third Volatile Note.
- Now she enters the Reincarnate State, where you can use Resonance Skill for the fourth Volatile Note.
- You can now follow up with your Basic ATK or Resonance Skill two more times and generate the fifth and sixth Volatile Note.
- When her Forte is full, you can perform a Heavy Attack, which will put her in the Revolving Cord State.
- While in the Revolving Cord state, you can use her Resonance Liberation, and this will put the character in the Maestro state. In this state, she can control Hecate.
- Hecate can be controlled both on-field and off-field, and triggering Phrolova’s Outro Skill amplifies Havoc DMG and Heavy ATK DMG.
Phrolova Forte Priority
Here’s how you should consider leveling up Phrolova’s abilities in the game:
- Resonance Liberation
- Forte Circuit
- Normal Attack
You can also level up her Resonance Skill, but that will have very little priority compared to the rest of the skills.
