Bethesda is offering various free goodies, including new cosmetic content, to DOOM Eternal players to mark the beginning of Quakecon 2023. The developer is giving away three new cosmetic items: the Lux Slayer Deluxe Edition set, Majestic Archville Deluxe Edition set, and Nightmare Marauder Deluxe Edition set. DOOM Eternal players can claim these free rewards through the developer’s official website.
Bethesda has stated that players who had enabled the ’email opt-in’ for their official account have already received these cosmetic items. These players can find the character sets in-game. Additionally, players who sign into their official DOOM Eternal accounts till September 1, 2023, will receive another character free skin – the Slayer skin from 2021 update.

Freebies for players of Mighty Doom, DOOM, and DOOM 2
Apart from these character sets for DOOM Eternal, the developer is also offering a free character skin for Mighty Doom, a top-down shooter mobile game on Android and iOS. Players of the mobile game can redeem the Quakecon 2023 Mini Slayer Skin until August 31, 2023.

The Fallout franchise developer has also announced the release of a completely free add-on called ‘Scientist’ for DOOM and DOOM 2. This add-on will be compatible for the re-released versions of these two original DOOM titles and feature 20 unique levels. These levels include 11 original levels from the classic titles, as well as 9 new single player levels from the 2005 update of the game. The add-on will also include 10 bonus Deathmatch levels. Apart from the levels, the Scientist add-on will introduce several new weapons, music and SFX, textures, as well as enemies.
