In a Genshin Impact livestream titled Version 3.7 “Duel! The Summoners’ Summit!”, miHoYo gave us a glimpse of a new character named Charlotte. Working as a reporter for a newspaper called Steambird, Charlotte will help with an investigation during a new tournament that is coming to the game.
Genshin Impact is also adding some cool underwater gameplay that players will be able to explore in the upcoming update. Called the Fontaine, this new submerged Hydro nation is expected to go live in version 4.0.

The new Fontaine Character
During the 3.7 livestream, Genshin Impact showcased Charlotte as a new character from Fontaine who works as a journalist for Steambird, a famous press organization in the game.
Charlotte was introduced as part of the upcoming main event called the King of Invocations Grand Prix. Players will meet her during the event, and she will be accompanied by Kirara, another new Dendro 4-star character. However, Kirara will be a playable character in the upcoming banners, while Charlotte will appear as a non-playable character in the upcoming banners.

Fans of the game have already noticed what looks like a Fontaine-style vision in a blurry image, which has led to speculation that Charlotte could have Cryo vision when she is released.
Voice actors for Charlotte in Genshin Impact
Charlotte, the new character in Genshin Impact, has both English and Japanese voice actors. Her English voice actor is Maya Aoki Tuttle, who has also lent her voice to other characters in games like Arknights, Warframe, Destiny 2, and Final Fantasy VII.
Meanwhile, Charlotte’s Japanese voice actor is Azumi Waki, who has voiced characters in other popular games like Alchemy Stars, Azur Lane, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Fate/Grand Order. It’s exciting to see such talented voice actors lending their skills to Genshin Impact’s characters, and players can look forward to experiencing their performances in the game.
