Crash Team Rumble, the 4v4 multiplayer live-service game from Toys for Bob and Activision, is likely to have another trailer shown at the upcoming Summer Game Fest.
Geoff Keighley, the host and producer of the event, posted a cryptic tweet recently featuring a picture of the Crash Bandicoot crate with a message slapped on top of it:
“You’ve been Bandicruited!”
With Crash Team Rumble’s release in two weeks from now, fans are now certain that the game will get spotlight in SGF.

The game’s close beta had a brief run from April 20 to April 24, which failed to generate any hype about the game. In the Reddit post announcing the leak, fans are even talking about how much they want Crash Team Racing to be unveiled on PC soon, and not a “live-service game”.
With its imminent release, Activision is expected to bring something exciting to the table in Summer Game Fest. The Crash franchise has huge popularity, and a well-rounded spotlight addressing fans’ demands and concerns can certainly win them over.
Besides today’s tweet, the Summer Game Fest trailer also featured Crash. While Keighley has previously warned against getting hyped from a game’s inclusion in the SGF trailer, it is a fairly reliable indicator on games that’d appear in the event. So, if not Crash Team Rumble, some other Crash game will almost certainly appear in the center stage tomorrow.
Summer Game Fest is scheduled to take place on June 8, 2023, at 12pm PT/ 3PM ET. Crash Team Rumble is slated for release on June 20, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and Xbox One.
