CD Project Red has announced several high-profile staff additions to the development team of the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, codenamed Project Orion.
In a press release posted today, the studio behind The Witcher series has shared that the newer US and Canada-based CD Project Red North America is leading the project. The Cyberpunk sequel, which is at an early development stage, is being spearheaded by studio veterans who were behind Cyberpunk 2077 and its Phantom Liberty expansion.
This group is based in the newly created Boston office of CDPR and comprises the following members:

- Andrzej Stopa (Cinematic Director)

The Cyberpunk 2077 sequel codenamed Project Orion was first announced in October 2022. We have learnt previously that CDPR will be using Unreal Engine 5 for the game. In December last year, we heard CD Project Red’s narrative director Philip Weber sharing that the Cyberpunk sequel will put more emphasis on life paths.
