Vawrek Technology’s latest MMORPG, The Quinfall, hopes to redefine the genre and change how players experience online gaming. Having elements of both traditional and modern games, there’s a lot to explore for players around the world. What makes it unique is its one-of-a-kind upgrade system for armor, weapons & accessories. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the way the upgrade process works and how you can make your character more powerful.
The Quinfall: Upgrading System
There are two ways you can get your hands on powerful weapons. You can either explore dungeons and gather special items or collect tokens and upgrade your weapons at the Blacksmith.

Exploring Dungeons
Exploring the various Dungeons spread across this game’s world gets you tons of XP, and rare gear. The more challenging the Dungeon level, the better the rewards will be. I recommend that you go for high-level dungeons to get rare items or materials. These are super useful in helping you upgrade your equipment.
Click “Tab” or go to the Content Menu. From there, check for Dungeons in the Events tab. Use the map to pinpoint the available Dungeons. Some dungeons are much easier to solve with a group, so team up whenever you can to gain rewards together.
Each dungeon has four different parts: The Lost Altars, The Treasure Chests, The Treasure Rooms, and the Boss Rooms.

The Lost Altars are four altars that you must locate and activate, after which they’ll give you special abilities. A good thing about these altars is that the powers they give will be active for the entire time you stay in the Dungeon.
The Treasure Chests and the Treasure Rooms of these hidden areas give you rare items and equipment. The higher the number of players, the higher the chances of getting more treasure chests. Treasure rooms will often have puzzles you have to solve to get personalized rewards.
The Boss is the final step of completing the Dungeons. To summon the boss, ring the bells and wake them up to fight head-on. Defeating the Boss will give you massive amounts of XP, Skill boosts, and rare equipment.
Here’s a list of some Dungeons that you can explore:
- Foaming Catacombs
- Deepest Maze
- Ancient Temples
Upgrading at The Blacksmith

The Blacksmith is an NPC who to upgrade your weapons, armor, and other items. They do charge some tokens for each upgrade, so try to earn as much as you can before heading to their location.
The maximum number of stars a weapon can have in The Quinfall is 5. The higher the stars, the more powerful the weapon becomes. Upgrades get more expensive the higher the number of stars.
A quick way to earn Tokens is by exchanging materials with other Profession NPCs. They’ll be spread out across the map so use it to locate them, then talk to them by pressing the “T” key. Each Profession will ask for different materials. You can gather all of it by exploring around, defeating monsters or other players, attending events, or completing Professional jobs and quests.

Go to the Profession NPC you have materials to sell to and exchange all of your stuff for some Tokens. The Armorer has many items that can aid in the enhancement process. You can head over to the Blacksmith once you’ve collected enough materials & tokens.
Here is how you can start the upgrading process:
- Talk to the Blacksmith and open the Enhancement Menu.
- Place the weapon, armor, or accessory you want to upgrade into the box on the left in the Enhancement Menu.
- Each item will require different materials to start the process.
- You don’t *need* a special item to enhance your weapon. The upgrade process can still happen without it. The upside is that adding those rare items will increase your chances of getting a successful upgrade.
- If you have rare items, place them in the box in the center and start the process. You’ll see more positive outcomes with the chances immediately.

Upgrading equipment to higher levels, such as more than 3+, will be easier if you have legendary or rare items like Nebula Crystal or the scrolls. Don’t worry about the upgrade failing, as even if it fails, you won’t lose your item. Instead, you’ll lose a percentage of the stars. Try to gather as many Nebulas as you can by completing quests, dungeons, and events to upgrade all equipment faster.
