Bethesda Game Studios is finally dropping a free Fallout 4 update on April 25, 2024, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. These next-generation consoles will also be getting native applications of the game.
The PC versions will be getting a separate update with widescreen and ultra widescreen support, along with additional fixes and content.
Fallout 4 Upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S:
- Native applications
- Performance mode and Quality mode settings
- Stability improvements
- 60 FPS and higher resolutions
PS4 and Xbox One players will also be receiving a free update. However, it will be limited to stability improvements and will resolve login and quest issues.
Fallout 4 Upgrades for PC:
- Widescreen and ultra-widescreen support
- Creation Kit issues will be resolved
- Various quest update issues will be fixed
As for Steam, GOG and Microsoft Store players, the update will be limited to resolving mod, stability and bug issues.
The update will also address the Bethesda.net login issues for Japanese and Chinese language players. And they will be able to access mods without facing issues.
Bethesda Game Studios has not stopped here, they will be launching a new quest line – Echoes of the Past as part of the “Enclave Remnants”.For this reason, the studios will be adding this creation club content, along with the Enclave Colonel uniform and workshop items:
- Enclave Weapon Skins
- Enclave Armor Skins
- Tesla Cannon
- Hellfire Power Armor
- X-02 Power Armor
- Heavy Incinerator
In addition to the Enclave Remnants, a makeshift weapon pack and a Halloween workshop will also be added on April 25.
