Fans excited for the release of Fallout: London, a big add-on for Fallout 4, might face a problem because of the game’s recent next-gen update. The folks at Team FOLON say that even though the next-gen version of Fallout 4 is not stable enough to work well with Fallout: London.
This problem has caused a needed action for players who want to try the London mod. The Fallout: London installer will have a “downgrader” tool that will change the user’s Fallout 4 installation to a version that works with the mod.
The choice to use a downgrader came about because changes being made to the new version of the game by Bethesda were causing problems. These updates meant that Team Folon had to keep starting over the testing process for Fallout: London because the different parts didn’t work together. By downgrading, the mod can work the way it’s supposed to.

If you’ve played Fallout 4 after the update, you’ll see how many more issues it brings when it comes to mods. While playing the vanilla experience is mostly fine, it has notoriously been incompatible with many mods.
Fallout: London was supposed to come out on April 23rd, but it got delayed because it’s not ready to work with the new update for the game. We don’t know when it will come out now, but it seems like the team is almost finished getting everything ready. The mod will be on GOG because it’s too big for Nexus Mods. Fallout: London is being checked by GOG before it’s released.
