Final Fantasy 16 demo is most likely coming out on June 11 as several prominent video game streamers have confirmed hosting a sponsored stream for the game on that day. Considering that Square Enix has also announced a special pre-launch event on the same day, the gaming community suspects the FF16 demo release will immediately follow it.

Several gaming streamers, such as Ludwig Ahren and Blittzz, had announced these unique and sponsored streams before taking the posts down. Apparently, Blittzz sent a YouTube notification to his followers in order to tell his fans he’d be playing the first few hours of Final Fantasy 16 on June 11 on a live stream. This was quickly taken down, presumably over the instruction of the developer.
Square Enix hasn’t divulged any specific details as to what fans can expect from the FF16 pre-launch event in Los Angeles this Sunday. Several other streamers have also confided that they will be playing either the demo or the game live on their streams on the coming Sunday and Monday.

It was previously speculated that more details regarding Final Fantasy 16 would be coming to gamers during the Summer Game Fest. However, the title’s poor pre-order numbers seem to have compelled the developer to take drastic measures. This is also evident from the game’s official Twitter page, wherein the developer is posting never-seen-before artworks of key characters, landmark locations, and several story & gameplay details just weeks before the title’s launch.
