Earlier this morning, CI Games posted a Lords of the Fallen trailer on Twitter, only to take it down quickly. However, a user was smart enough to record it on their phone before the video was deleted. The leaked video was posted on Imgur and shows the trailer along with the game’s release date, which is October 13, 2023.
Given that the trailer was posted from the official Twitter account of the developer, we can assume with fair confidence that it is legitimate. The video mainly showcases the fight with various bosses and ends with a release date and CTA for pre-order (which could not be captured as the video was deleted immediately). The game will be available for PS5, Xbox Series S|X and for PC on Steam and Epic.
The video verifies the leak by @ALumia_Italia. The renowned leaker, whose leaked information turns out to be accurate most of the time, shared that Lords of the Fallen will be released on October 13.

Lords of the Fallen is a sequel to the 2014 Lords of the Fallen; the name is understandably confusing. The first game received mixed reviews, but players are hyped for the new one. It will be the first souls-like game to run on Unreal Engine 5, and players are curious to see what it will deliver visually.
The gameplay of Lords of the Fallen teases difficult, fluid tactical combat. To vanquish their opponents, players will be able to use hundreds of unique, lethal weapons as well as magic. The game will also have a multiplayer mode in which one player may team up with another. The invasion mechanism, similar to Soulsborne titles, will let strangers enter your realm for some PvP.
Given the increasing number of souls-like titles in recent times and many of them failing, it needs to be seen whether the new Lords of the Fallen game can taste success.
