A new location for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has been teased ever since the launch of Season 3 in April. Thanks to a new leak by Call of Duty data miner, BKTOOR, fans have finally caught a glimpse of the new map titled Vondel.
As disclosed from the previous leaks, the map is going to be set in the Netherlands. The new image of this map features a brighter and more colorful palette, unseen before in the New Warzone 2: Resurgence. The leaked image features a suburban setting with colorful blocks of houses and a windmill-type structure.
The image looks promising and confirms the location of the map in the Netherlands. The new map Vondel is named after the largest public park, Vodelpark, in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands.
Many data miners have hinted towards the new map being launched in August 2023, however, there is still no official word yet from the game’s developers. Fans of the game are pretty excited to explore the new map, as it seems like Vondel will be the first map in New Warzone 2 that isn’t based on an island, unlike other popular maps from the title, Ashika Island and Al Mazrah.
The 5th Warzone map that was codenamed Delta is Called Vondel and set in the Netherlands.
