Odyssey Interactive finally released Omega Strikers for Nintendo Switch today, April 27 and can be downloaded from Nintendo’s eShop. The title is already available on PC and Mobile (both iOS and Android), while the PlayStation version can be wishlisted. According to the official website listing, the game is coming to Xbox soon. Odyssey Interactive’s first game is cross-platform and is developed by folks who were formerly among Riot Games’ leads. Omega Strikers has been available on Steam for PC platforms since its release on September 16, 2022.
The developers of Omega Strikers collaborated with Studio TRIGGER to make an excellent launch video ahead of the game’s release on Nintendo. Studio TRIGGER is popular for its trending anime series creations.
Omega Strikers is a blend of soccer and air hockey coupled with combat. The game has a 3v3 setting that offers different characters with unique abilities. With more than 15 characters called Strikers, the game allows players to throw slime at each other and they have to carefully dodge the hazards in the arena. In order to score a point, you have to send a hockey puck into the opponent’s post similar to traditional sports.
