According to Ubisoft, the upcoming Prince of Persia game utilizes the metroidvania structure, allowing players to explore the vast Persian themed landscape of interconnected worlds that will offer players various puzzles, action encounters, and dangerous platforming challenges. Some of the locations revealed during the trailer in Summer Game Fest include the Citadel of Knowledge as well as Hyracian Forest.
