Monthly Games for PS Plus subscribers for November 2023 have been revealed by Sony. Three games will be added to the monthly collection. These games will be available for download from Nov 7, 2023 to Dec 4, 2023. The games added to this collection include:
- Mafia II: Definitive Edition
- Dragon Ball: The Breakers
- Aliens Fireteam Elite
PS Plus subscription service is definitely going through major changes. Fans across the world were particularly unhappy about the increase in subscription cost, as well as with the ‘poor’ selection of PS Plus Essential monthly games over the last few months. This month has further confused the subscribers, as Sony announced these titles very late than usual.
Usually, PS Plus Essential monthly games for next month are announced on the last Wednesday of the month. However, there was no announcement on Oct 25, 2023, i.e. the last Wednesday of October. It was speculated by the fans that Sony might be gearing up to reveal an attractive title (if not all three), that would excite the subscribers.
Now, this collection seems to have created a rift between fans, some claiming that it’s a good collection, while others are displeased with the condition of PS Plus service, speaking up in favor of Xbox Game Pass.
PS Plus Monthly Games Nov 2023 Collection Disappoints Fans
Many fans have already started to react negatively to this selection. Many fans are calling this ‘another trash month’, and the selection ‘disappointing’.
However, not all fans share this sentiment. Many are actually looking forward to the release of Mafia II on the PS Plus monthly collection. Several fans have even started speaking up in favor of the selection, urging others to try Mafia II, claiming that it is an ‘insanely good game’.
Aliens Fireteam Elite, released in 2021, however, seems to attract the attention of a small number of fans. It’s possible that many haven’t gotten their hands on this title or had a chance to try it out yet. In fact, PS Plus Extra games added in Oct 2023 included its more popular peer, Alien Isolation.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers seems to be attracting a lot of excitement, with players looking forward to its PS Plus monthly release.
Sony Announces Major Discount For PS Plus Subscribers On Sony Pictures Core
Apart from the PS Plus monthly games, Sony has announced new ‘Sony Pictures Core’ benefits for the subscribers. Starting on Nov 1, 2023, all PS Plus members will receive a 15% discount on all content available for purchase and rental in Sony Pictures Core during the month of November. Sony Pictures Core is a paid service through which subscribers can buy or rent over 2000+ Sony Pictures titles on their PS4 and PS5 consoles.
Note: PS Plus subscribers have up until Nov 6, 2023, to download the monthly games for Oct 2023. Players can take this chance to download and store October’s titles—The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22, and Weird West.
