Psyonix, the developer behind the popular game Rocket League, has announced an exciting new partnership with Star Wars in their latest Gameplay Trailer. The collaboration will see a range of new cars added to the game, all inspired by some of the most beloved droids from the Star Wars universe.
The new cars will include designs based on R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, and K-2SO, and will come with a range of in-game items such as decals, wheels, and animated toppers. These toppers will even move around in-game as you play, adding an extra level of variety to the Star Wars-themed content.

When will it be available?
The new Rocket League x Star Wars packs will be available in the game’s shop from May 4, also known as Star Wars Day.

Psyonix has also announced Star Wars Droid Bundles for the big fans of the Star Wars Galaxy. In the bundle, you can get all four Droid Packs, the “Droid” Player Title, and the R2-D2 Player Anthem to hear R2 buzz and whistle every time you score!
The developer has also announced the STAR WARS Droid + Car Bundle, which includes the items listed above and a Gold Fennec, Black Dominus, Cobalt Octane, and Organe Takumi. For players who don’t want to spend money, Psyonix offers a free “Rust Bucket” player title and an R2-D2 (Twin Suns) player banner in the Item Shop, starting May 4.
This partnership with Star Wars is just the latest in a long line of collaborations for Rocket League. In the past, the game has featured cars from franchises such as Batman, The Fast and the Furious, and James Bond. The game has also collaborated with famous automobile companies like Lamborghini. Famous collabs also include WWE, Fortnite, Jurassic Park, Stranger Things, etc.
