Star Wars Outlaws, the hugely anticipated open-world shooter game set in a galaxy far far away, is set to release in late 2024.
This revelation came from a Disney Parks blog post outlining the roadmap of attractions for the fans. In the post, Disney Park’s Editorial Content Director Thomas Smith offered new information regarding the release of this title.
Previously, developer Massive Entertainment had only revealed that the game would be released in 2024, without offering any information about a specific release window. Smith says in the new post,
“Star Wars Outlaws, the open world Star Wars game, is set to release late this year. The game lets you explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new.”
Fans of the franchise have been looking forward to the release of Star Wars Outlaws ever since it was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase of 2023. The presentation also featured an in-depth gameplay showcase that introduced the playable character of the game, Kay Vess, and her companion, Nix.
Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Outlaws by publisher Ubisoft is set to expose the dark underbelly of the galaxy. It will be set in a time marked by rising criminal activities under the ever-growing threat of Empire-wrought annihilation.
