The Thaumaturge, the paranormal detective RPG by Fool’s Theory will now be released in March. The game was originally scheduled for release on Feb 20, 2024.
Fool’s Theory has posted on Steam that The Thaumaturge will be released on March 4, 2024. This decision has been made to give the game more breathing room, thereby avoiding the jam-packed game release schedule of February 2024. The developer has claimed that the game is complete and has already been sent to several reviewers.
According to the developer, the release of The Thaumaturge has been delayed to
give The Thaumaturge more breathing room so it receives the attention we belive it deserves.
The developer also claims that it will be taking the extra time to polish the game even further. February 2024 has seen the release of many popular titles. The month kicked off with Granblue Fantasy Relink’s launch. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League was also released earlier this month alongside Jujutsue Kaisen: Cursed Clash and Persona 3 Reload.
Helldivers was released last week and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will launch tomorrow. More than 35 titles are still waiting for a planned launch in February 2024. So it seems that Fool’s Theory has taken a sensible stand by pushing the release of The Thaumaturge to March.
