Gunfire Games’ latest Soulslike looter-shooter RPG gives you a plethora of character customization options, including different body armor slots, amulets, rings besides the obvious weapons, traits, skills, and Archetypes.
Just like any of those customization options, amulets in Remnant 2 can give you an edge in combat if used correctly by complimenting the build and purpose of your character. In this guide, we will look at where you can get them, while also giving you a short list of some of the best amulets you can find in the game.
Amulets in Remnant 2: Where can you get them?
Amulets are accessories that you can equip on your character to gain a certain bonus in stats or other benefits. They can also have a chance to give you a negative effect as a trade for the positive. But you can only equip one amulet on your character as compared to rings, which you can equip four of. Amulets are not cosmetic, and you cannot actually see your character wearing them. It acts purely as a stats modifier item.
There are various ways you can get amulets in Remnant 2, here is a list of them:
- Exploring: You can find amulets as items on the ground if you explore the levels enough and find secret areas of loot.
- Defeating enemies or bosses: Certain enemies and bosses in Remnant 2 can give you amulets when you defeat them.
- Completing Quests: Amulets can also be rewarded for completing certain quests and even side quests.
- Buying from vendors: Some of the amulets in Remnant 2 can also be bought from vendors in Ward 13 by trading scrap or even related crafting materials.
- Crafting at crafting stations: There are rare crafting stations in some of the levels in Remnant 2 that can allow you to craft special amulets with the use of very specific crafting materials.
Best Amulets in Remnant 2
Now that you know everything about what amulets are and how to find them, let’s take a look at some of the best amulets you can encounter in your playthrough.
Quick Links: Death’s Embrace | Jester’s Bell | Detonation Trigger | One True King Sigil | Hallowed Egg
Death’s Embrace
Gain 20% to all damage when Health is below 100%. Gain HASTE when below 50% Health.
This amulet works great for the more aggressive players among you, as it gives you a permanent 20% increase to all of your damage. All you need to do is be slightly below full health. Also, it gives you haste when you are below half your health, which means you get increased movement speed to get to safety.
Jester’s Bell
Increases Mod and Skill Cast Speed by 35%. Casting a Skill or Mod increases all damage by 20% for 15 seconds.
This amulet in Remnant 2 is best suited for a build that heavily relies on using mods and skills. The skill cast speed increase with this amulet can come in clutch for a lot of the slower casting skills in the game. Not to mention, the increased damage just after casting skills is almost overkill.
Detonation Trigger
Increases Explosion damage by 25%. Explosions apply 405 BURNING damage over 5 seconds.
If you are a player who uses a lot of explosive weapons on your build, this amulet will make you even more powerful. Not only does this amulet apply a burning status effect to any enemy caught in the explosion, but it also increases the base damage of the explosion itself.
One True King Sigil
Increases Mod damage by 20%. Enhances the effect of Faerin’s Sigil and Faelin’s Sigil by 50% per Sigil equipped.
This is another one for builds that rely on mods, a 20% increase to mod damage can be devastating with the right mods and builds. This amulet in Remnant 2 also compliments Faerin or Faelin’s Sigil and if you have progressed enough, you will at least have one of those already. It can make your mod unleash incredible power as you come into mid to late game.
Hallowed Egg
Spending at least 30% of Firearms magazine to deal damage increases melee damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Stacks 5x.
This amulet is a slightly more complicated one that promotes a certain type of dynamic play style. It requires you to switch between ranged and melee combat. The idea is, as you spend ammunition while closing the distance on your target, you get powerful enough for melee hits when you reach them.
That is all you need to know about amulets in Remnant 2. Amulets can provide new gameplay and build opportunities so always be on the lookout for them as you slay your way past the brutal enemies in Remnant 2.
