Encountering the major boss fights in Lords Of The Fallen is as simple as following the storyline, but it does offer you optional boss fights as well. One such fight consists of the dangerous Abiding Defenders duo guarding an open area with a chest right in the center.
Now at first, it might all seem simple as they only look like sculptures. But as soon as you enter the area, the Defenders come to life and start swinging their weapons at you. Fighting two of them at once can be tricky, especially when one of them has the ability to revive the other.

Tips To Defeat The Abiding Defenders Kyra & Lirenne
While fighting the Abiding Defenders, it is essential to keep yourself at bay from their stabbing attacks, which can prove to be seriously damaging. Moreover, they can cast Radiant spells from their swords. However, their sword swings are relatively slow due to their size, which will allow you to dodge away from their attacks easily if you time them right.
When it comes to actually defeating the Abiding Defenders, the best route is to attack them simultaneously. It will affect both of their health bars and as soon as one of them kneels, the other one will try to revive them. This is the time when you have to lower the health bar of the standing Abiding Defender as well.
Once both of them kneel, they will die and vanish away. After defeating the Abiding Defenders duo, you will receive the following rewards:
- x1 Ebonlight Abiding Defender Sword
- x1 Abiding Defender Masked Helm
- x1 Vestige Seed
- x1 Divine Arms
- x1 Flail of Wisdom (from the chest)
