Co-op games seem to be on the rise this year, and Content Warning is shaping up to be the next big hit in the genre. However, the game only allows up to four players to play together currently, which could be a let-down for many.
Thankfully, modders have figured out a way to increase the max player count in Content Warning, allowing bigger groups to play together. Here is how I managed to install and use the Content Warning multiplayer mod.
How To Add More Players In Content Warning Using The More Players Mod
To increase player count in Content Warning, you will need the More Players Mod made by Twitter user 753.network. This mod increases the player count up to a whopping 120-player lobby.
To download and install this mod:
- Head to its official GitHub page.
- Download the ExtractIntoContentWarningFolder.zip file.
- Extract the files inside the zip to your game directory, which can be found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Content Warning - The mod will be installed, and you should now be able to have lobbies with 120 players.
Keep in mind that all players need to have the mod installed for this to work.

Alternate Mod To Add More Players
There is another mod called Virality that increases the player count up to 200 and can be installed via the Thunderstore app and Mod Manager. You can download this mod here, it can also be downloaded in a zip file and installed just like the previous mod. I personally haven’t tested this mod yet, but there have been no complaints from other players so far.
