To reach the Radiant ending in Lords Of The Fallen, you need to cleanse five beacons before you can beat the final boss Adyr. Amongst these, the Forsaken Fen beacon is guarded by The Hushed Saint. As a mandatory boss to beat if you want to get anywhere close to the beacon, the Hushed Saint possesses incredible strength and presents two different phases in battle.
Not only does this powerful enemy wield a weapon and shield, but it also rides a mount with swift speed that can be challenging to dodge. So, if you’re goal is to defeat this boss and emerge victorious in this fight, here’s every detail you need to pay attention to.

Where Is The Hushed Saint Located In Lords Of The Fallen?

The Hushed Saint can be found in the foggy Forsaken Fen swamp area. To locate this boss, just go towards the end of Forsaken Fen and head towards Fitzroy’s Gorge.
The Hushed Saint has a vast arena for battle and will be sprinting on his horse toward you as soon as you are in proximity to initiate the epic boss fight.
How To Defeat The Hushed Saint in Lords Of The Fallen?
The Hushed Saint has a total of two battle phases where he uses his mount and throwable Halberd to inflict damage to your character. Similar to the Sentinel boss in Elden Ring, the Hushed Saint charges toward you while swinging his weapon, initiating the first battle phase.
Keep in mind, that this boss is completely immune to poison and will not be harmed if you use poison-infused weapons. Instead, try fire salts and weapons infused with fire to deal fire damage and give this boss the burn debuff.
Phase 1
During the first phase, the Hushed Saint will mainly be on his mount, charging at you and swinging his Halberd. But once in a while, he will get off his horse and try to attack you on foot. You can deal damage if you avoid his weapon attacks.
You can also use your Umbral Lamp and attack one of his parasites to throw him off the horse for a more leveled battle. It is also recommended to ask for the Iron Wayfarer’s aid and summon his during this battle for a better chance at defeating this boss.
Since the Iron Wayfarer has a giant hammer, it’s an excellent weapon for heavy hits that can do great amounts of damage. Once the Hushed Saint is half health, it will initiate phase 2 of the battle.
Phase 2

During the second phase, the Hushed Saint will mostly do all his fights on foot and use his Halberd and Shield often. If you put a little bit of distance between the two of you, he will sink into the ground using tree roots and then jump out near you to do a surprise striking attack.
His Halberd will also power up and reach longer distances during the second phase of the battle. The Hushed Saint will often do some two-swing combos and take a bit of time recovering from his swings — this is where you get the opportunity to strike back.
The Hushed Saint’s move sets include:
Move | Description | Counter |
Charged Attack on Mount | The Hushed Saint will charge towards you. | Avoid the attack by running to the side. |
Trample (Mount) | The boss runs from edge to edge of the arena to trample you. | Avoid the path. |
Halberd Swing (Mount) | While running on his mount, he will swing his Halberd. | Dodge the attack. |
Land Mines (Mount) | He will drop landmines behind him, which detonate after a while. | Avoid the path behind him. |
Dash | He dashes towards you on foot. | Dodge forwards. |
Swing | The boss swings his Halberd for sweeping attack damage. | Roll through the attack or roll away to avoid taking damage. |
Strike | He tries to strike you with the Halberd. | Dodge away from the path of the attack. |
Stab | He tries to stab you using the Halberd. | You can dodge this attack by observing the direction. |
Throw | The Hushed Saint can throw his Halberd from a distance. | Back away to avoid this ranged attack. |
Ice shockwave | He can send out a shockwave of ice. | Back away to avoid this attack. |
Shield bash | The boss can use his shield to bash you. | Stay away from the shield to avoid taking damage from this attack. |
You need to stay pretty close to this boss for triggering his combo attacks. If you have good dodging skills and a little bit of patience, this boss can be taken down quite easily.
