Based on the latest rumors, the next title in the Monster Hunter series by Capcom will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside other platforms. Universo Nintendo’s editor-in-chief, necrolipe, on Famiboard, reports that Monster Hunter 6 will launch on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Till now, not much is known about the upcoming Monster Hunter title. Previously, a number of reports surfaced claiming that the new title may be called “Monster Hunters Paradise”, however, this may not be true.
New Monster Hunter game is not called Monster Hunter Paradise
Earlier, through a Discord developer mode leak, it was speculated that the next major game in the series was to be called “Monster Hunter Paradise”. However, this was later debunked and the name was more than likely made up. An X/Twitter user @MHKogath wrote:

Monster Hunter Rise
It is important to note that this will not be the first time we will see a Monster Hunter title on Nintendo Switch. In 2021, the most recent Monster Hunter Rise was released worldwide for Switch. Later, the game also received a paid expansion called Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. Rise iterates on many of the strengths of Monster Hunter World, while also establishing many new elements and mechanics that we might see being adopted in the upcoming titles including Monster Hunter 6.

Final Fantasy 7 remake
According to the previous information by a credible leaker, I’m A Hero Too, there was a possibility of Final Fantasy 7 remake being a launch title for the upcoming Switch 2. However, the latest reports suggest otherwise. NateDrake says that Square Enix currently has no active plans for a Switch 2 or Xbox release of the Final Fantasy 7.
Far Cry 7
According to information from Insider Gaming, Ubisoft is planning to bring Far Cry 7 to Switch 2. The game is codenamed “Project Blackbird” and is intended to be released in the Fall of 2025.
While it’s apparent that the game is under development and hence the details are subject to change, Far Cry 7 will possibly feature a non-linear story revolving around the player rescuing their kidnapped family members from a conspiracy group. Unexpectedly, the game may also have a time limit of 72 hours, which translates to 24 hours in the real world.
