Ore is required for building and crafting almost everything in Palworld as you reach mid-game levels. Unfortunately, Ore cannot be produced infinitely in the comfort of your base. You will need to find cluster deposits of ore which are spread throughout the map.
Fortunately, these resources respawn every 24 in-game hours, so finding a good spot and setting up camp there can be a boon in this game.

Best Spots To Mine Ore in Palworld
Land Behind Desolate Church
Location: (63, -417)
You can’t build a base and farm ore easily in the area surrounding the Desolate Church. However, you can find a decent amount of ore that can be mined and transported to your base with the help of some transport Pals.
Alternatively, if you decide to go about mining yourself, there’s a fast travel statue in the Church which can be helpful when you need to transport the mined ore. You can also find 9 ore deposits behind this statue.
Landmass Located Southwest of Small Settlement Town
Location: (10, -522)
This is one of the best locations to build an ore farming base. While the area offers little to no natural protection against enemy raids (as it is surrounded by open landmasses on all sides), it’s completely packed with ore deposits.
This location has plenty of ore to mine, a town close by filled with various useful vendors, and a good flat ground to build a base.
Mountain Located Northeast of the Sealed Realm of the Guardian
Location: (190, -40)
This hidden gem is located on the top of the mountain, northeast of the fast-travel statue for the Seal Realm of the Guardian area. This area isn’t flat but quite rocky, considering it’s situated on the top of a mountain.
Apart from a considerable amount of ore, you can also find plenty of coal deposits in the area. Hence, building a farming base here can prove to be very effective late in the game. The base will be protected by difficult terrain as the altitude will effectively make it un-raidable.
You can easily mine coal and ore to make Refined Ingots in this base. Make sure that you have competent flying mounts for easy access.
Plateau Located Southwest of Fort Ruins
Location: (157, -395)
This is by far the best ore mining location in Palworld. You can easily build a massive farming base here. This flat and spacious land offers 8 massive ore deposits. The area also features geographical features, like natural chokepoints that will help your worker Pals in defending the base against the raiders.
The journey takes quite a while on the foot, so make sure you have capable flying mounts for your first visit. Once you get there, I recommend setting up a base as soon as possible so you can easily fast-travel to this area once a Palbox has been set up.
The Desert Biome
The desert in Palworld is filled with small deposits of ore spread throughout the biome. There are no major spots that can be used to create and sustain a base. However, if you keep an eye out while traveling through the desert, you can easily spot a couple of ore deposits lying about.
How Can I Mine Ore in Palworld?
Like every other resource, you can mine ore with your pickaxe, if you decide to go about it yourself. I highly recommend using capable and strong mining Pals, such as Digtoise and Anubis. These pals are great at mining, as they do not get distracted by any other activity. Apart from these two, any level 2 and above Pal that features the Passive Skill of Mining Foreman can prove to be a great worker for this activity.
