The best gear of any RPG is always hidden behind secret missions and puzzles that you must solve to get it. Assassin’s Creed: Shadows has a secret Classic Assassin Armor set, and you must complete missions to unlock the armor in the game. This guide will cover how to unlock the Classic Assassin Armor or Apprentice Assassin set in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows.
Unlocking the Naoe’s Mission
The Classic Assassin armor set is part of Naoe’s storyline. On the Objective screen, Naoe’s mission is listed on the right while Yasuke’s mission appears on the left. You will not gain access to Naoe’s questline right away, you must progress through the main storyline until you unlock the quest titled “Wolves and Foxes.”
After you have completed the Wolves and Foxes quest, you will unlock The Assassins and “Secrets of the Blade “Mission. Start the “Secrets of the Blade” mission, where you will be tasked to Find Clues about Tsuyu. Following the objective will lead us to a cave, where we will find the Apprentice Assassin Set or the Classic Assassin Armor in the game.
Getting into Tomb of the Ancients
- Following the Secrets of the Blade mission will lead you to Kofun, an underground region where you continue with the rest of the quest. Since you are running on a mission, just follow the objective marker to get to the right area.
- You will soon see a question mark on the map. Follow the “? ” marker and you will find yourself facing a rocky doorway with the Assassin Brotherhood logo carved on its surface. Interact with the door to examine the logo and enter the area inside.
- The new area will be revealed as the “Tomb of the Ancients“. Once inside, take the doorway on the left, and you will see a mannequin with the Classic Assassin Armor set.
That’s it, now you can rip your reward by taking the Classic Assassin Armor set. Go to your Inventory, and you will find the armor under the Light Armor section, titled Apprentice Assassin Gear and Apprentice Assassin Hood under the Headgear section.
