XDefiant has been gaining hype ever since its first closed alpha test, during which many players vocalized their opinion about it being a super fun first-person shooter. This was the opposite of what people thought it would be when its trailer first dropped. Now, after several alphas and betas, it is finally launching, but how long would the XDefiant Pre-Season last before we get new content? Let’s find out.
How many Days will XDefiant be in Pre-Season?

The XDefiant Pre-Season will last six weeks from May 21, 2024, to June 2, 2024. The Pre-Season will feature five Factions, five modes, 24 weapons, and 14 maps, out of which 10 are arena maps (Domination, Hot Shot, etc) while the other four are progression mode maps (Escort and Zone Control).
After this Pre-Season ends, the road map for XDefiant reveals that it will receive a new season every three months. Each new season will feature a brand new Faction, three new weapons, and three new maps, along with a 90-Tier Battle Pass.

If you played during the previous test sessions or the insider sessions, any rewards associated with those will be unlocked and available for you on launch. The Pre-Season also adds a brand new Ranked Mode practice playlist, allowing players to practice with the ranked ruleset for when the actual Ranked Mode drops.
The XDefiant Pre-Season has a limited amount of new content compared to what we have already seen in the previous betas and server tests. But that is also why it’s a pre-season and not a real season. We can expect the real new content to start dropping once the game is out of this six-week Pre-Season period.
