Wood will be one of the core resources to collect when you start a new settlement in Manor Lords. Since you need wood for construction and firewood, you will cut down all the forests around your settlement very quickly. To avoid this and be more efficient, you should learn how to build the Foresters Hut in Manor Lords to keep the natural forests untouched.
How to Make Foresters Hut in Manor Lords
You can build the Foresters Hut in Manor Lords from the Gathering tab in the construction menu at the cost of 2 Logs. Once placed, you will also be required to assign at least one family to it for the forestation work to begin.
When placing down a Forester’s Hut, make sure it’s placed somewhat near the town, but more importantly, make sure it’s near your Log Camp and Woodcutter’s Lodge as they will benefit from having a forest nearby. This will ensure that they won’t need to travel which will cut down the time required to collect resources like Logs and Firewood.
Most resources follow a specific chain; they get collected, processed at a building, moved to storage, and then moved to the market if required. It would be best if you kept this in mind when placing down your buildings making sure the next building in the chain is nearby.

Forester’s Hut also helps avoid deforesting the important parts of the forest like the Berry Deposits which can die out if you cut down the forest in its general vicinity. This can be difficult to deal with as each region only gets one Berry Deposit, which means your current region will be left with no natural source of Berries.
Also, be aware that the demand for Logs and Firewood will only increase as your town grows, so make sure you have multiple families assigned to the Forester’s Hut in Manor Lords; otherwise, there won’t be enough trees planted, and your wood-cutting workforce will have no choice but to cut down the natural forest trees.
